Speed your boat along a winding river, dodge rocks, logs and buoys, ride the currents and reach the finish line before the other boats.

How to play the boat game
Choose one of the 3 rivers and the mode: Race, against 3 computer boats, or Time trial, on your own, to beat your best time. After the countdown 3, 2, 1, speed up to the checkered finish line.
Use the arrow keys or W A S D (on the phone, the buttons below the screen) to turn, accelerate and brake. The boat slides a little in the turns, so start turning early. Hitting the bank or rocks, logs, buoys and crates slows you down.
The light patches with arrows are currents: some push sideways, others give a forward push, and the dark blue ones hold the boat back. The yellow signs with arrows give a turbo boost for a few seconds.
Frequently asked questions
How do I beat the computer boats?
Stay away from the banks, cut the corners on the inside and use the turbo signs and the currents that flow your way. The computer boats steer well but are not perfect in the bends.
Does the boat game work on a phone?
Yes. Use the big buttons below the screen to turn and accelerate. If you prefer, turn on “Auto throttle” in the menu: the boat accelerates on its own and you only handle steering and braking.
Does the river change every race?
No: each of the 3 rivers always has the same layout, so you can practice and compare your times. Your record for each river is saved in the browser.
