Spin the Wheel — Random Name Picker
Type in the names, spin the wheel and let luck decide. A free random name picker for giveaways, classrooms, party games and group decisions.
How to use the wheel of names
Enter one name per line in the box next to the wheel. The wheel automatically splits into equal slices, one for each name.
Tap “Spin the wheel”. It spins for a few seconds, slows down and lands on a name, which is highlighted as the winner.
Need to pick several people with no repeats? Use “Remove winner” after each spin. You can also shuffle the order of the names anytime.
Frequently asked questions
Does every name have the same chance of winning?
Yes. Every name gets a slice of the same size, and the spot where the wheel stops is chosen at random.
How many names can I add?
Up to 100 names. With lots of names the slices get thin, but the pick is still completely fair.
Are my names saved anywhere?
Your names stay in your browser only while the page is open. Nothing is sent to our servers.
