How to play the world map quiz
Tap “Start” to begin a round of 10 questions drawn from the countries.
A country name appears, such as “Where is Japan?”. Tap or click the right country on the map. There is no time limit.
The right country turns green and, if you missed, your click turns red. At the end, see how many you got right; your best score is saved in this browser.
Frequently asked questions
Why are some countries missing from the questions?
The map is simplified. Very small countries, such as Singapore and Malta, would be just a dot on the map, so they are left out to keep clicking accurate.
Are the borders on the map official?
No. The map is simplified and the outlines are approximate. It is for practicing locations, not an official source for borders.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. The map fits the width of the screen and works with touch. On a computer you can also move between countries with the Tab key and pick one with Enter.
