How to play guess the country
Each round starts with the first clue: the continent of the country. Tap “Next clue” to reveal more, up to four: letter count and first letter, capital and a fact.
Type the country name and send it. Any name the country has in the game languages works, such as Brazil, Brasil or Brasilien, with no need for accents or capital letters.
Guessing with one clue earns 4 points; with all four clues you get 1 point. Each game has 10 countries, and your best score is saved in this browser.
Frequently asked questions
Which country names are accepted?
Any name the country has in the languages of the game. For example, Germany, Alemania and Allemagne all count for Germany. Accents and capital letters do not matter.
How are the points calculated?
A country is worth 4 points with one clue. Each extra clue lowers the value by 1 point, with a minimum of 1 point. If you skip a country, that round is worth 0.
Do the countries change every game?
Yes. Each time you press “Start” the game draws 10 different countries. The clues always appear in the same order: continent, letters, capital and fact.
